If you’ve ever had to read through a recipe multiple times to wrap your head around how to actually cook it, well, so have we. Braise is here to help! Our planning and cooking features break down and organize recipes from prep through cooking, so you can focus on honing your cooking skills. You can use Braise to cook a single recipe, or build a menu that lets you cook a full meal. Braise will help you get more use out of your cookbook collection and all those saved recipe tabs, and will help make you more fluent in the kitchen!

PHOTO AND URL IMPORT
Take a picture of any cookbook recipe and Braise will import the recipe, break it down into an intuitive overview, and store the recipe in your library in one step! You can also import your favorite online recipes directly from your phone or via URL.

RECIPE LIBRARY
Build out an archive of recipes you can use as the building blocks of your cooking repertoire! Braise stores your recipes in a library where you can revisit your favorites to perfect your technique and riff on the process.

STEP BY STEP COOKING GUIDE
Braise is designed to help you cook the way you think. Each recipe is broken down into ingredients, organizational steps and cooking steps, and highlights any special equipment you’ll need. Once you have your mise en place, Braise walks you through each step of the cooking process. We remove the cognitive overhead of planning a recipe so that you can focus on cooking!

Feeling curious? We hope so! You can use our Questions feature to ask for clarification about recipe steps and learn more about ingredients you’re using for the first time. If you can’t find a certain ingredient or you just want to start experimenting, you can ask Braise about substitutions that have a similar flavor profile.

SUBSCRIPTION INFO
You can use Braise for free with up to three recipes! When you’re ready to start cooking with gas, you can subscribe to Braise for $4.99/month or $49.99/year. Subscriptions renew automatically, but you can cancel at any time.
