HeyLooya!™ is the ultimate foodie app designed to locate the nearest food craved by other foodies. This app is all about the food! Looking for something to satisfy your craving, but not sure where to find it? HeyLooy!™ was created for just this dilemma. We don't care if the food establishment is Michelin starred or a hole in the wall. We only care where the best food is located.

[Seeding the Food Data]
Fulfilled by other foodies, HeyLooya!™ was built with a social platform in mind. Food data is provided by each member uploading a picture of the food dish, providing the name of the dish, providing their opinion by voting on the food dish they just uploaded, and providing the restaurant name. That’s it. The food dish information is captured. Additionally, restaurant owners can provide Food Drop information which will be communicated via the app notification feature. A Food Drop is when a restaurant offers a new dish. They can set the day the new food dish will be offered.

[Third-party Data]
To provide a better experience, we use Yelp API to provide information about the restaurant selected when the member posts the food dish they uploaded. This third party information give the user (member or guest) the restaurant's hours of operation, services available, phone number, and the address.

[Future considerations]
To increase the member experience, additional functionality to support delivery, reservation, and/or ride share will be made available. Additionally online visual menus will be made available for handsfree menu solutions.

[Search Feature]
Users (members and guests) can use the app by entering a partial food dish description, by selecting a service type, or by selecting a food category. Information is served up based on the user's current location (leveraging the user's device) or by the user entering a city and state. The default distance is set to 25 miles radius from either the user's current location or the selected city and state but can be manually increased

[Social Features]
Members (must have an account) to follow other members and like food dish postings. Only profile information shared between members is their profile name. Guest cannot participate in the social aspect of following members or liking member's posts.

[Data we collect]
We use the GPS of the user's device to serve up real time food dish information. We also use images on the member's device to post a picture of the food dish. Members can also maintain their profile information. The information collected in the member's profile is their email address (used to signup for an account), profile name, password, city, state & zip code, and the year they joined the HeyLooya!™ family.

[How we use this data]
GPS is used to serve up real time information as the user searches for the food they crave. For members, we use their city, state, and zip to send notification of Food Drops occurring near them. This information is not shared and cannot be seen by other members or guests.

[In App Purchases]
In this initial phase, there is no in app purchases at this time. The services are free to use. Once we achieve our download goals, then we may introduce in app purchases including but not limited to membership subscription. Early adopters and members in good standing would be grandfathered if and when in app purchases are made available.
