The Amsterdam Monster Factory app entertains people of all ages, while enabling you to explore and educate yourself about the city of Amsterdam - from anywhere in the world! Launched as part of the Amsterdam 750th anniversary celebrations, Amsterdam Monster Factory stands for the benefits of embracing difference and its benefits which is integral to the city Amsterdam, and the foundation of its (cultural) wealth for 750 years.

This Augmented Reality Quest takes you through the city’s past and present and features a collection of animated storytelling Amsterdam Monster Factory characters that come to life. The nine Monsters represent eight values of the city and they work as a team to spread and celebrate the essence of Amsterdam: ‘When you are open to others, you prosper’.
