Knowing which couple played the best in a four-person social bridge game is nearly impossible, since so much of the score depends on card quality. FAIRbridge removes this unfairness by taking card quality into account when scoring a hand. When the game is over you will know which couple played the best bridge.

It works like this: FAIRbridge assigns a target score, based on card quality, to the couple who won the bidding (a "par value" for you golfers out there). If the final score is above the par value, the FAIRbridge score is positive, if it is below the par value the FAIRbridge score will be negative.
