PeerTV is a native Apple TV app for PeerTube. Point it at the PeerTube instance you use (or run yourself), sign in, and use your account the way you would on the web; optimized for the remote and the TV.
What you can do
Pick your home instance -- Enter your server URL once; the app validates it before you browse.
Discover and search -- Explore what’s trending on that instance and search the catalog with the familiar tvOS keyboard.
Channels -- Open a channel, see its videos and playlists, and subscribe or unsubscribe when you’re logged in.
Signed-in experience -- Subscriptions feed, watch history (with progress synced to your instance), and playlists; including private lists like Watch Later when your server exposes them.
Playback -- Full-screen playback with quality options and playback speed when available from your instance’s streams.
Downloads -- Save videos for offline viewing from Settings → Downloaded Videos (when you choose to download from a video).
Make it yours -- Choose a color theme that fits your TV setup; system theme follows Apple TV appearance settings.
Privacy-minded by design
OAuth tokens are stored in the Keychain on your Apple TV, not in plain text in the app. You choose which PeerTube instance to use; PeerTV is a client for your server and your account.
Note: Some instances enable extra features (for example optional random-video plugins). Availability depends on how that instance is configured.

- touch and hold (without pressing) to get 2x speed up while holding
- hold touchpad for more than 1 second to switch to 2x speed (or if already in 2x speed, back to 1x speed)
Bug fix:
Play/Pause button now plays video too.
