Visit imaginary places and enjoy the experience of richly illustrated and animated environments with ambient soundscapes.

Playces features a sleep timer, making it perfect for use as a night light. Fall asleep in the comforting presence of an imaginative world filled with lovable creatures and relaxing sounds.

Use the volume sliders to create your preferred audio mix of background sounds, foreground sounds and music.

Currently Playces offers the following three environments:

• The Home of a Gnome
On a hill in the countryside stand an old tree. It’s the home of a gnome. Let the gentle sounds of rustling leaves and bird songs carry you away, and enjoy the company of a few friendly animals coming to visit.

• Puffin Island
It’s a sunny day and Puffin Island looks peaceful. The waves of the ocean sound lively but calm, and the seagulls fill the skies. A young puffin is enjoying the sun on a rock, as seals and a little crab pop-up to say hi.

• The Cosy Cave
When it nighttime and it’s raining, a bear’s favourite place is a snug cave to sleep in. As the forest has fallen asleep to the sound of raindrops, even the owl is finding it hard to keeps his eyes open.

This version brings a number of new features and improvements, including:
- Volume settings are now saved per scene, so the app remembers your preferred music and sound effects mix for each scene separately
- Various improvements to the interface, such as some improved icons and UI sounds added to selected buttons
- Sleep Timer countdown can now be set to a custom value
