PS|Receiver™ is an iPod/iPhone/iPad app for mailrooms. It is a companion product to the web –based PS|Ship™ mailroom management software. PS|Receiver helps mailroom staff track letters and packages from the moment they arrive at the central mailroom to the moment they are delivered to the intended recipients. iPods can be equipped with optional scanner sleds that scan address label and other (e.g., location, personal ID, etc.) barcodes conveniently, quickly and accurately. The scanner sleds are not required to run the software.

PS|Receiver communicates automatically with PS|Ship cloud servers via Wi-Fi –connections, so that PS|Ship administrators can configure and secure the devices remotely, and recipients and senders can see the exact status of their packages as they move throughout the building. This is accomplished through scans when packages arrive, when they leave the mailroom, as they move through the building (using optional waypoint scans), and when they are either signed, left at some location without signature (when applicable,) or returned to the mailroom as undeliverable. PS|Receiver can also handle outgoing mail and package pickups from individual offices back to the mailroom up to an eventual hand-off to a commercial carrier.

The large amounts of data generated by PS|Receiver can be used to manage, analyze, and optimize mail routes; discover and address inefficiencies in internal mail and package delivery processes; and provide comprehensive reporting and analysis on all aspects of mail coming into and going out of the building.

PS|Receiver is a state-of-the-art iOS application that is extremely easy to learn and use. It is secured by centrally managed user authorization and access, encrypted data on the device, and encrypted SSL transport between the device and the cloud servers. PS|Receiver security is enhanced further by the fact that uploads its data to secure cloud servers automatically and as soon as possible.

PS|Receiver is a great, affordable investment for small, medium and large companies due to its extremely fast ROI for mailroom operations -- it can cut in-house mail and package processing to a fraction of the time required with a manual or semi-automated process.
