The purpose of this tool is to assist you to take 5 steps to assess your task and any hazards associated with the task:
•Stop and observe the scene
•Think about what you are trying to achieve
•Identify any hazards
•Plan a safe course of action
•Safely complete the task
Features include:
•Unlimited pre-task Take5 assessments
•Enforced controls to identified hazards
•Automated e-mails to yourself, your supervisor and Health and Safety representatives
How it works:
1) Choose ‘Begin’ to start Take 5 process; fill in your full name, description of task and locations of task and push ‘Start’
2) Save relevant e-mail addresses in the ‘Settings’ tab to receive automated e-mails
3) Review your saved tasks in ‘Save Take 5’ tab
