EdgeVis Client

EdgeVis Client is the front end application from Digital Barriers. It allows connection to an EdgeVis Server for monitoring of Video and alarms.
EdgeVis Client only works in combination with the other components of the Edgevis system. Please do not download this application if you do not have access to an EdgeVis Server version 6.0 or above.
The Edgvis Client is able to:
- View multiple video streams on the same screen
- Display incoming alerts from remote assets
- Show location of assets on a map
- Using a tabbed screen to allow multiple activities to be opened at the same time
- Store most used activities for quick retrieval
When connected to an encoder the user can:
- View the video and audio
- Control the remote cameras PTZ
- Use the Virtual PTZ capability
- Switch the input
- Access the remote archive
- Utilise the Full-resolution retrieval feature

Users can now disable the auto-login mode from the Settings page.
Fixes an issue where the client could not connect to a server with encoders set to wake-on-alarms
Resolves a number of EdgeVis Client compatibility issues on older firmware/servers.
Resolves a corruption issue when using full-res on mobile encoders when using small video resolutions.
The correct port is not used when redirecting a user to the EdgeVis Server interface when the user is required to change their password.
The client would not properly show available recording times when the encoder is in a different timezone.
