Genie Gateway is a new proprietary suite of digital solutions designed to leverage several of Genie Gateway’s existing inventions in order to create the best of two worlds: Closed-Loop peer-to-peer (P2P) real-time payments, enabling customers to both send and receive payments from any other Genie Gateway customer; and Open-Loop payments, where a Genie customer can both send and receive payments, face-to-face, online, or by phone, from anyone with an email address and a checking account, at any conventional bank.

Like all Visa cards, GenieCard Visa Debit cards are embossed with the traditional 16 digit account numbers but unlike other Visa cards it also embossed with your 10 digit cell phone number, which you can use to send and receive closed-loop payments. To make a payment you can present your GenieCard everywhere Visa is accepted or store a Virtual GenieCard on your cell phone for telephone and online payments, or you can simply tell any Genie Gateway merchant your cell number which they can process on their virtual point of sale (“VPOS”) terminal which confirms your purchase with a text message.

The Genie CashBox is an extremely robust eWallet with a Virtual Checking Account (GenieChecking) that integrates with your GenieCard Platinum Visa Debit Card, enabling you to transfer funds from one account to the other in real-time. GenieChecks can be utilized to pay bills via email to anyone with an email address nationwide.
