What's New since 4.2.2
This update bundles four releases (4.2.3 through 4.2.6) with new scheduling tools, a guided check-in setup, faster updates, and a long list of reliability fixes.
4.2.6
- Fixed a subscription bug that could send a brand-new trial to the "subscription expired" screen on day one and block checking clients in. Trials and purchases now unlock access as soon as the App Store confirms them. If you ever hit this, tap "Restore Purchases" to clear it instantly.
- Clearer, more reliable update prompt. When an update is ready, a banner appears at the top of the home screen and in the side menu: "Update ready, tap to restart and apply." Tapping it now applies the update right away.
- The app can now receive quick updates. Many fixes and improvements will reach you within minutes instead of waiting for App Store review. Larger changes still come through the App Store as usual.

- Consent and intake forms for clients imported from the old app that were stuck in the queue can now be completed. The Artist and "ID Checked By" fields now clearly prompt you to choose, and the form saves and checks out normally.
- New guided setup for your check-in workflow. Settings, Preferences now explains each check-in option in plain language and adds a "which setup fits your studio?" guide. You can turn online photo ID upload on or off right alongside the other check-in settings.
- Clearer wording throughout check-in, sharing, and deposit settings, plus a note that declining an appointment request just moves it to your Declined tab and does not notify the client.
- Auto-lock on the home screen is now off by default, so you no longer re-enter your PIN every time you return home. You can still lock from the menu, or turn auto-lock back on for a shared front-desk device.
- Payment methods moved into Settings, Payments alongside Stripe, deposits, and card readers, so all your payment setup lives in one place.

- Appointment reminder and confirmation texts now use your studio's configured timezone, so clients always get the correct appointment time.
- Service and product names are no longer cut off at 20 characters.
- Signature pad no longer records a stray mark in the top-left corner. Strokes follow your finger from the first touch.

- New double-booking soft warning when you pick an artist who already has an overlapping appointment.
- Smarter end-time handling in the appointment editor: an end time at or before the start now auto-bumps to one hour later.
- New Form prefill reliably keeps sex, date of birth, and address populated when looking up a returning customer.
- Selecting a country no longer wipes a phone number you already typed.
- Country is now properly required on new-customer forms when enabled, and defaults to your studio's region on first open.
- Searchable dropdowns no longer hide behind the keyboard.
- Calendar month view no longer overlaps the appointments list on weeks with "Closed" badges.
- Fixed a Reports, Tax error that could blank the screen for studios with older sales records.
- Fixed intermittent failures in payment setup, receipt sending, and staff management.
