Finally an app for the professional Taxi driver developed to reduce costs, optimize her work and log it. You no longer need to return to your parking lot, nor to pay broker services, nor risk to make bad encounters with dangerous people: the app will inform you if your service is requested pointing you to its location and suggesting the shorter route to it by means of a route directly drawn on the map. Should the booker move, its annotation shall move accordingly to ease your finding.
In any case you will also be able to abort the reservation, according to local regulations on which you are only accountant, by automatically notifying the customer, and you will be conversely notified if the customer cancelled his request.
The app is not restricted to be a server app as it is also possible for the taxi driver to manually enter the reservations she received by any other means like phone calls, radio, other apps or even people hailing the taxi in the road!
Why do so? Because the app will also store all the information about the journeys in a safe and confidential location, for you to later browse and analyse.
You will always know the state your reservation is in by means of the colors, text and images in the footer and you will control all the actions by swiping a switchboard and be informed by notifications occurring even while the app is in background or switched off. A non battery-greedy localization system also allows to report the position of the taxi on the users' maps while the apps is in background, if not plugged. Otherwise the GPS system is used for a better positioning.
Also for your safety, your map will follow your position while you are driving and the switchboard shall slide bottomward. In a parking position you will instead be able to freely scan the map to see where potential client are located in the shape of green annotations, and move the bottom switch according to your needs.
The app also incorporates a virtual taximeter supplementing the one most taxis already have in their car allotment. This will attempt to calculate the correct fare to apply, and you will have to confirm or correct it before being entered in the logs at end of the run, as well as adjust it during the run, if desired.
Your taxi will only be reserved by means of the client apps: In Arrivo HD, In Arrivo Express and Share & Spare and, both taxis and minicabs, may also be reserved by proxy by the manager of the fleet by means of the sister app Limo Manager.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
