ActorsMentor is the rehearsal tool actors have always needed; a patient, tireless scene partner that lives in your pocket.

Import your script, pick your character, and let the app read every other role while you focus on yours. Whether you're preparing for opening night, an audition, or a table read, ActorsMentor helps you go from "I think I know it" to actually knowing it.

HOW IT WORKS
Import any plain-text script: your own work, public domain material, or anything you have the right to use for personal rehearsal. Character names in ALL CAPS, dialog on the next line. The app does the rest.

Pick your character and an optional scene to focus on. Then choose how you want to rehearse.

REHEARSAL MODES
Auto Play: Reads every line straight through. All characters including yours. Great for absorbing the full flow of a scene.

Line–Gap–Line: Reads your cue, then a silence gap so you can say your line, then reads your line to confirm. Training wheels on.

Gap–Line: Silence gap first, then reads your line. No cue. You have to remember the context yourself.

Gap Only: Silence scaled to your line length, then moves on without reading it. The hardest mode. Sink or swim.

STUDY TOOL
Flashcards: See your cue, flip to reveal your line, mark Got or Missed. Shuffle mode randomizes the order. Weak lines surface more often automatically.

First-Letter Drill: Your lines appear as first letters only. Force yourself to recall the complete text from memory. Tap to reveal when you need the safety net.

Sleep Mode: Plays the full script at a slower pace while you rest. Optional sleep timer. All characters. Let it absorb overnight.


VOICES
Without a Google API key, ActorsMentor uses Apple's built-in voices, clear and functional for rehearsal.

Add a free Google Cloud API key to unlock Chirp3-HD neural voices; significantly more expressive and natural, with a distinct voice assigned to every character in your script. Generate voices once and they're cached on your device for offline use.
