Ad Orientem is a reverent companion for praying the Byzantine Daily Office (Horologion), reading the daily Scriptures, and keeping the rhythm of the Church's year — in your own tradition.

Choose the calendar your Church keeps, and the whole app follows it — the date of Pascha, the tone of the week, the fasting rule, the movable feasts, and the saint of the day:
• Byzantine Catholic — Gregorian calendar and Pascha (Ruthenian, Ukrainian, Melkite, Romanian and other Greek-Catholic Churches in union with Rome).
• Orthodox — New Calendar — Revised-Julian fixed feasts with the Orthodox (Julian) Pascha (Greek, Antiochian, Romanian, Bulgarian, OCA).
• Orthodox — Old Calendar — Julian fixed feasts (+13 days) with the Orthodox Pascha (Russian, Serbian, Georgian, Mount Athos).
