Adventures with MIRRI is a culturally grounded language-learning app created for Indigenous children, families, Elders, Knowledge Holders, and community language speakers.

The app supports communities to strengthen and share language through everyday learning. Parents, Elders, or authorised adults can add their own words, translations, example sentences, and voice recordings, allowing children to learn from the voices and knowledge of their own family or community.

Children build language confidence through interactive play, including listening games, spelling, matching pairs, word puzzles, speaking practice, songs, stories, and study cards. Large visuals, clear icons, audio support, rewards, badges, companion growth, and tree health goals help make learning engaging, accessible, and age-appropriate.

MIRRI, the in-app learning companion, supports children as they progress, offering guided help while encouraging independence and repeated practice. The app is designed to respect community-led learning, where language content remains controlled, and maintained by the people who hold it.

All learning content is stored on device, meaning no-one else can access the data you input! your language remains sacred and respected to support privacy, family control, and language sovereignty. Locked parent controls allow adults to manage words, recordings, settings, and learning difficulty, helping families and communities use the app in ways that suit their own cultural protocols, teaching practices, and language journey.

This update improves the Adventures with Mirri learning experience with new Word Library study cards, better game clues, improved Pairs card artwork, refined dashboard layouts, clearer settings, stronger example sentences, and smoother Mirri hint behavior across games.
