At Sophia, our educational philosophy is based on empowering students to reach their full potential as they grow from the learners of today into the leaders of the future. Our name comes from the Greek word for wisdom; wisdom is what our tutors share with their students in order to best prepare them for what lies ahead.

The Sophia on-demand mobile app connects clients with our expert tutors quickly and safely at the touch of a button. Choose your desired level of expertise, select your location and search for your preferred date and time. Payments are cashless and secure via Stripe, at the end of every session.

Tutors undergo a thorough recruitment, vetting and on-boarding process to ensure that every tutor on our platform has passed our rigorous professional standards and upholds the Tutors’ Association Code of Ethics.
