Introducing Articulation Arcade: the most interactive and engaging articulation app on the App Store! How Does Articulation Arcade Work?
It's simple: choose an articulation game or the flashcards activity, select the sound(s) you want to practice, and choose the position of the sound (e.g. initial, medial, or final position in words). When the user takes their turn in a game, a pop-up flashcard appears and they can say their target word, phrase, or sentence as many times as they like. Spoken productions are scored as correct, approximately correct, or incorrect.
The 7 articulation games in the Articulation Arcade are as follows:
World Cup: Collect pictures as you take a shot and aim for a goal
Snakes n Ladders: Climb up the ladders and watch out for the snakes
Four in a Row: Get four counters in a row to win the game
Matching: Find all the matching picture pairs in this exciting matching game
Bingo: Listen to the target word, find the correct bingo picture, and stamp it
Spin the Wheel: Have fun spinning the wheel and landing on the pictures
Scratchcards: Gradually reveal the flashcard behind by scratching the card
Flashcards and Star Rewards System
The flashcards activity has an additional twist that allows users to practice their target speech sounds in a fun and engaging way. For each correct pronunciation, the child is awarded a star, providing a sense of accomplishment and motivation to continue practicing.

Articulation Arcade includes over 1,400 beautiful, high-quality photos and 22 English consonant speech sound programs. Each sound program targets speech sounds in initial, medial, and final positions of words, phrases and sentences. There are approximately 60 target words for most speech sounds and the app also targets blends in the l, r and s sound programs.
