Council AI is a mobile chat app where you talk to AI agents that represent well known historical thinkers, scientists, philosophers and modern experts.

Instead of chatting with one generic assistant, you choose who you want to talk to and who you want in the room. You can speak to one person at a time or create a group chat and bring multiple minds together in the same conversation.

Note: Council is designed only for educational and learning purposes. All agents in the app are artificial intelligence characters. They are not real people and they do not represent or speak for any living person or organization.

The goal of Council is to help you explore ideas, perspectives and ways of thinking in a simple and conversational format.


How Council works

Choose people, not prompts
Each agent has a clear identity, background, personality and area of expertise. When you open a chat with a specific agent, the replies stay in character and follow that perspective. You do not need to write role play instructions or system prompts. The app handles that for you.

One to one and group conversations
You can start a private chat with a single agent or create a group chat with several agents at once. A group can include scientists, philosophers, psychologists, business thinkers or creators in the same thread. You are always part of the conversation and can guide the direction by what you ask.

Smart group replies
In group chats, Council automatically decides which agent should respond based on the topic and the flow of the conversation. This keeps the chat natural and avoids every agent replying to every message. If you want a specific person to answer, you can mention them directly and they will respond.

Short and natural messages
Replies are written to feel like real chat messages. They are short, clear and conversational. The focus is on back and forth dialogue instead of long essays or formal explanations.

Discover mentors by category
Browse and explore agents by categories such as science, philosophy, psychology, technology, business and creativity. You can also see a curated set of top mentors and open an agent profile to learn more before starting a chat.

Built for learning and curiosity
Council is designed for asking better questions, comparing viewpoints and exploring how different minds would approach the same problem. It is ideal for students, lifelong learners, creators and anyone who enjoys thoughtful conversation and discussion.

Local first and privacy focused
Your chats and conversation history are stored on your device. The app is built with a local first approach. Only agent definitions and AI requests are sent to the cloud. Your personal conversations remain on your phone.

Agents can remember what has already been discussed in a chat so you can continue a topic over time without repeating yourself.
