ER App opens a portal to information about safety awareness and response to natural and manmade disasters as well as outdoor pursuits that could present a danger to individuals, families and communities.
The information is question based to encourage the user to make their own decisions in the event of the numerous situations they could find themselves in.
The majority of the text within the app remains within the app and is present once downloaded onto individuals devices and allows them to access the information without connectivity or wifi. The links and maps would be the only exception. They will require some form of connectivity to the internet.
Note: "Not every type of emergency or event could be listed, but those that are will give the app user a greater understanding of what questions to ask themselves should they encounter an event listed."
Why ER App? - Ask any parent what they would take with them in times of a disaster and it would be children, pets, wallet or purse, mobile phone, a GO BAG. The mobile device will carry useful information for them, should they need to leave their residence in a hurry and offer support by asking questions about the scenario’s they may find themselves in. This is what the ER App is designed to provide.

There is a "FUNDRAISER" button that allows schools and friends of the school to complete an application on behalf of the respective school they would like to support. This application information is forwarded to the Emergency Response Company where authorisation for funding may be granted in providing resources and programmes promoting Health and Safety, Emergency preparedness and Response to Natural and manmade disasters as well as outdoor pursuits.
