In this new technological age, a huge cultural event such as the exhibit of Beato Angelico’s “Lamentation over the Dead Christ” during the 2015 Exhibition of the Holy Shroud can also become a digital event. The official App for iPhone and iPad was created to help visitors to learn more about one of the greatest artists of the Italian Renaissance.
With this App, Fra Angelico’s work becomes easily accessible to everybody. Listen to the audio guide by Timothy Verdon, Director of the Florence Cathedral Museum, and then tap the image to discover how a masterpiece is made.
