Kindergarten Spelling is a game that will help your child discover phonics by learning to phonetically spell simple words. It was developed by a kindergarten teacher to promote beginning spelling. There are two levels of play, a letter recognition option and a spell option. There is an option to add extra letters to provide more challenge. Kindergarten Spelling will keep track of your child's spelling achievement by recording percent correct as well as the words they missed. This will help challenge children to do better each time they play. It will provide parents and teachers with the ability to track letters and words that are frequently missed by each child.

Kindergarten Spelling uses CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant), CVCC and CCVC words to promote letter sounds and spelling. Also included is an introductory to some of the letter blends frequently encounter in beginning spelling. Colorful pictures for each word are provided to keep children engaged and excited to use letters and their sounds to create simple words.
