Local Lingo works with your existing language course by expanding your vocabulary rather than teaching you the rules of the language.
Personalised lessons and tests help expand your vocabulary using pictures grouped by theme, such as Food or Clothes. Lessons start in the home environment, teaching you the names of everyday items.
Local Lingo adapts each lesson or test based upon how well you know each word. You can even indicate which words you think are the most important and the ones you don't care about.
Local Lingo works great at any level, from beginner to expert. As you move to higher levels, you are presented with a wider selection of words. Kids find it very easy to use since there are no complicated instructions – just the words to learn.
The more lessons and tests you take, the more Gems you earn. Use your Gems to unlock even more words, get cool avatars or use awesome themes.
Language vocabulary varies between countries. Local Lingo allows you to select which country best suites you and even provide your feedback if you don’t agree. You might have a better suggestion for where you live; we'll continually improve with your help.
