The MHSS Mood Monitor enables users to monitor their mood by answering a series of questions each day. Very quickly they gain an insight into how they feel, how their mood has changed and what simple tips and tricks they can use to improve how they (and others) feel. Together, this builds a real culture of resilience amongst individuals and the group.
Designed to be fun and intuitive to use, the MHSS Mood Monitor is designed to become a normal part of an individual's daily routine. The inputs are confidential and anonymous – however support for users from MHSS’ team of professionals is available 24/7 through the hotline service.
The MHSS Mood Monitor instils the importance of proactivity towards mental health in users. By reflecting on feelings every day, monitoring changes and taking proactive steps to manage these, users will create an improved culture of mental hygiene in themselves and others.
The MHSS Mood Monitor can also be used by operators who want to take a proactive approach to risk-management. An insight into the general mood of a vessel provides vital early-warning information – so that trends and issues can be identified and preventative action taken, all whilst maintaining the confidentiality of the users onboard.
The daily questions take minutes to complete.
