Space Photos is a simple way to learn more about the universe we live in. Discover beautiful images and fascinating facts about outer space!
The photos and commentary are provided by NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day service. You can view, share, and mark the best of them as your favorites. And when you feel extra curious, the app lets you select a day in the past, dating back as far as 1995. Go ahead and check out the photo published on your birthdate!
New photos are shared daily (around midnight ET), and you can receive notifications as soon as that happens—so you don’t miss anything.

This update ships a number of bug fixes.
Please note that future versions of Space Photos will support iOS 17 and later. Older app versions will continue working, only they won’t be getting any updates.
