The Expanding Picture Book consists of 4 beautifully designed interactive picture books which continually expand to reveal a picture within a picture. The illustrations are bright, quirky and full of detail. Young children will love it but it is enjoyable for all ages. The zooming effect of the pictures will keep the viewer guessing until the very end.

- Interactive fun

Each picture book is set to relaxing classical music and each book has a series of interactive questions which appear as the images expand. These questions require the user to make basic mathematical calculations (for example count the number of people that are visible in a particular picture) as well as find and identify particular items on the screen. Both the questions and the music can be turned off in the settings page.

- Educational tool

The app has a multitude of educational uses. Each picture book is full of interesting talking points making them ideal to use with children who have speech and language difficulties or for those trying to learn a second language.

These are great for story sequencing activities where children view the app and then try to reassemble the images in the correct order. They are also great to use as part of teambuilding exercises or leadership / communication training where the team must decide on the correct order by listening to a description of each picture.
