CFS Inc. recognizes the growing trend in mobile remote deposit capture (mRDC) because it's easy to use, accurate and two-factor secure, allowing consumers and business people to deposit checks using their camera-equipped smartphones. Using their smartphones, in effect, as scanning devices, users can deposit checks from anywhere at any time, allowing quicker payments and/or access to funds. Consumers will initiate a mobile-banking session with their financial institution, then, by following the onscreen directions, snap photos of the front and back of the check(s) that they want to deposit.
The software does the rest, delivering enhanced images in the format the financial institutions already use. No trip to a branch or ATM required.
Customers with an iPhone or iPod Touch device simply download the application. Then, log in using two-factor authentication to initiate a secure session, take a picture of the front and back of the check and verify the amount of their deposit.
That's it! Within seconds of uploading the transaction, the user receives a confirmation that the deposit was received successfully.
Mobile deposit cannot get any easier than this. Security is important to CFS, Inc. That’s why we have parameters and standards set up that prevent things such as kiting and fraud.

With other mobile deposit products customers will be waiting on their upload bar to finish. Their product can take anywhere from 500 K up to 3 MB to upload their deposit to a server. Requiring more network bandwidth and more money out of their pocket with data usage prices from wireless carriers. Our mobile deposit does not require to be sent to a server. It uses ICR directly on the phone creating a file only 25 K . Only a mere fraction of the size of other mobile deposit uploads.
