Irish Life EMPOWER is a simple app designed to help you plan for your retirement. It’s your pension
calculator on the go and lets you take control of your pension.

This app will also help you to stay up to date with the progress of your pension and offers lots of useful
information about your plan and investment details.

Key features

As a member of a Defined Contribution (DC) or Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVC) pension scheme,
Irish Life EMPOWER allows you to:

- See the current value of your pension fund

- See details of the pension funds you are currently invested in. It also includes additional information
about your pension funds such as the risk rating, fund description and performance

- See the list of available pension funds within your pension scheme

- See all payments made in the last 6 months broken down between employer, employee and AVCs (as
appropriate)

- Calculate the estimated value of your annual pension at retirement, if you are a DC pension scheme
member

- Calculate the estimated value of your pension fund at retirement, if you are an AVC pension scheme
member

- Check how this estimate compares to a recommended target of 33% of your salary for DC
pension schemes

- Check how this estimate compares to cash lump sum target of 1.5 times your salary for AVC pension
schemes

- Calculate the likely impact of any change in contributions, salary or retirement date on your annual
pension

- Contact information for Irish Life and the ability to send us a message via the app
