Magnus Pay

Magnus Pay is a non-custodial mobile wallet for sending and receiving digital
dollars, dong, and euros. Built on Magnus, a new Layer 1 blockchain designed
for stablecoin payments in emerging markets.
What's different about Magnus Pay:
Pay transaction fees in any stablecoin you hold. Most wallets force you to
keep a separate "gas token" alongside the currency you actually use. Magnus
removes that. Send 100 mVND, pay the fee in mVND. Send 50 mUSD, pay in mUSD.
Pick your fee currency from the bottom sheet on the send screen.
Settles in 300 milliseconds. Magnus uses Commonware Simplex consensus, which
finalizes transactions in roughly a third of a second. The wallet shows you
the elapsed time on the send confirmation screen.
Cash out to a Vietnamese bank account. Send digital dong, receive VND in
your bank account via VietQR. Works with banks supporting NAPAS 247.
Three stablecoins live today: mUSD (US dollar), mVND (Vietnamese dong), and
mEUR (euro). All maintain their peg via on-chain FX reporters that publish
rates every minute.
What's in the wallet:
- Send and receive stablecoins via QR code or wallet address
- Multi-currency fee picker
- Transaction history with block explorer links
- Cloud account backup via Google sign-in
- Local currency display (USD by default, switchable)
- Faucet for getting test tokens during the Magnus devnet phase
Magnus is fully open source. The wallet, the chain node, the FX reporters,
the precompiles. Source at github.com/Magnus-Foundation.
This app does not custody your funds. Your seed phrase is generated on your
device and never leaves it. Magnus does not have the ability to freeze your
account, reverse your transactions, or recover your wallet without your
backup. The optional Cloud Account Backup feature uses Google sign-in plus
threshold cryptography to let you recover your wallet on a new device.
Magnus Pay is currently running against the Staccato devnet. Mainnet launch
follows in Q3 2026.
