Plutus is a Web3 platform that blends loyalty rewards with blockchain technology. Launched in 2015 as the first tokenised debit card, Plutus has since distributed over $50 million worth of benefits on everyday spending to its community and continues to innovate with money-saving features in 2026.
The new app release introduces Plutus Credits: prepaid digital vouchers that customers top up to unlock discounts on gift cards and other utilities, with savings that vary by plan. Credits stack with PLUS Rewards Points to offer better savings.

Plutus Credits:
Credits are prepaid digital vouchers redeemable for gift cards and utilities within the app. Available in four regional credit types: PGBP, PEUR, PUSD, PAED.
Gift Cards:
Redeem your credit balance across 500+ brand offers across UK, EU, US & UAE. Savings applied automatically via PLUS reward points at checkout.
Badge Collection:
One for the culture and the community. Collect one free badge each month, plus one free with every top-up. Complete collection sets across seven rarity tiers to earn rewards. No cost or purchases needed.
Earn PLUS Rewards Points:
Complete six community tasks to earn PLUS rewards points. Open to new and returning users.

Real-time transaction alerts, a multi-balance dashboard with CSV export, an 80+ article Help Centre, and PlutusAI support.
Why it matters:
The old Plutus was constrained by our card provider's roadmap. Every product idea had to clear an issuer, a processor, and a banking relationship before it reached you, or be phased out due to missing features. Now, you get uninterrupted access to rewards and utilities that no longer rely on a third-party card provider. The new Plutus ships today what the old Plutus took quarters to negotiate.
Returning this summer:
Currently in R&D phase, we are planning a release of the new card features with multi-currency support, new ways to send and receive funds, expanded regional availability, and previously missing basics like Apple Pay. Timing and features may change. More details to follow in due course.
