ZA Home Loan Calculator is a Proudly South African tool to help with calculations regarding home loans. This is a hobby project I built that I'm slowly releasing new features for.

Currently it has 2 calculators:

The Affordability Calculator is used to calculate the cost of a home you should be able to afford based off the monthly repayments you are able to make. You can play with factors like interest rates, service fees, deposits and loan terms to see how those will affect your affordability.

The Repayments Calculator is used to calculate how much you will have to pay monthly when purchasing a home at a specific price, like the Affordability calculator you can play with various factors to see how it will affect your monthly repayments.

Each of these calculators come with the ability to see scenarios on how making extra payments will affect the time it takes to pay off your bond.

This app also comes with a graph showing South Africa's historical prime lending rates.

I'd love to add more features to this and I'm very open to helpful encouraging suggestions on how to make this app a better experience.
