APP Features & Benefits
* Informative: Read current mental health statistics on athletes on all levels. This is where new and current research and data trends will be released.
* Educational: Provides positive strategies to manage mental health issues. We will continue to add and update strategies and techniques to improve athlete mental well-being. May include external links to appropriate APPs, websites and social media platforms. CWP continues to add new collated lists of Signs & Symptoms of common mental health issues in athletes.
* Athlete Specific Support Systems: Athletes can connect with and support one another’s Mental Health. CWP is working hard to offer opportunities for athletes to connect with one another across social platforms. We add reviewed podcasts and media that extends athlete connectivity.
* National Mental Health Resources: Provides External Links to many national mental health resources; including websites & social media support; Suicide hotlines, Mental Health hotline, Substance Abuse Hotline, Alcohol Abuse & LBGTQ support and many more.
Branded Version Features & Benefits
Branded Versions enhance the Athlete MH LINK app by providing, in additional to the features above, personalized institutional/organizational information, policies and protocols. The APP utilizes each sport organizations colors including logos & mascots. It is a tailored experience for your organizations athletes and coaches.
* Athlete Self-Assessment (Self-Efficacy Questionnaire): CWP has partnered with SVEXA’s Athlete Advisor, by integrating their proprietary daily athlete check-in questions into Athlete MH LINK. This option is currently ONLY available for Branded Versions of the app. The 9 daily questions are meant to increase athlete overall health and emotional self-efficacy, as well as provide feedback to the athlete and their sport ecosystem to create the best training and recovery plan by joining an “Admin Room”. **Athletes determine who (if anyone) has permission to view their results from their designated sport organization staff. (Athlete View Section- is how athletes can review which “Admin” rooms they have joined.)
* Admin View: This section is designed for specified sport organization staff members to create a “Room” and invite athletes to join, giving that Admin the right to view each athletes’ daily-assessment results. **Athletes determine who (if anyone) has permission to view their results from their designated sport organization staff.
* Direct Connection to Mental Health Professionals: Offers athletes a direct way to connect with specified organizational/campus/community Mental Health support structures.
