BSV Adverse Event Reporting (AER) Application.
BSV AER Application enables Healthcare professionals (HCPs), consumers, company representatives including sales representatives, other BSV employees to fill out adverse event reporting form and report adverse events developed after taking BSV’s Medicinal Products and Medical Devices. This BSV AER app is a free app for reporting suspected adverse events from any part of India. BSV’s pharmacovigilance team will receive adverse events reports which will be submitted through this app.
Most medicinal products and medical devices along with the desired therapeutic effects may also have side effects. Pharmacovigilance helps us to improve patient care and safety in relation to the use of medicines and devices. Patient safety is our highest priority. So, we monitor the safety of the BSV’s medicinal products and medical devices after their approval when they are available for patients. We continuously monitor the benefit- risk profile of our medicinal products and medical devices for improving the safety and quality of life of their users.
Purpose for developing the app?
BSV AER has been developed by BSV to provide ease and convenience for reporting adverse events.
While reporting, you need to report following information regarding adverse event to make the report valid:
•Identifiable Patient
•Identifiable Reporter
•Suspected Medicinal product or Medical Device
•Description of adverse event
Based on above requirement, we designed the application. It also enables photographs to be uploaded.
