Introducing CognICA - a medical device for use by clinicians.

It has the following intended use:
ICA is an adjunctive tool providing objective measures of cognitive function for the clinical evaluation of cognitive performance in individuals aged 55 to 90 years old.

CognICA utilizes Cognetivity’s patented ICA, the Integrated Cognitive Assessment. A quick and easy-to-use test of cognitive performance.

Users are shown a series of images in quick succession and for each image they are asked to respond ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to whether it contains an animal or not. The accuracy and speed of responses are then assessed using Artificial Intelligence, comparing ICA performance to tests previously taken by healthy and cognitively-impaired individuals.

This enables the ICA to provide an objective indication of cognitive performance and the likelihood of impairment. This can be used, along with other tests, to help a healthcare professional in screening, diagnosis and monitoring for a number of diseases associated with cognitive impairment, such as Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.

The ICA is a medical device, currently CE Marked and registered both with the FDA and within the United Kingdom and the EEA.

Cognetivity are pleased to announce the release of CognICA Version 1.9.0. We brought a region selector feature to the login screen - this allows the users to choose a region from those available in the dropdown list. We have also improved the interactive instructions screens for Arabic speakers.
