This app simply connects recipients (who needs blood) with donors (volunteers) in your community or proximity. It allows the recipients to search for donors in their community. And, it provides the donor to ability to change their status to “Not Available” if they are not available for any reasons (such as ‘Just gave blood’, ‘Traveling Abroad’, ‘Sick’, ‘Family Emergency’, etc.).

This App simply provides the donor’s contact information and a possible blood type that a recipient could use to make an initial selection and contact the donor. It doesn't provide medical diagnosis nor it validates the blood types or any shortcomings of the donor. Any testing, vetting, or medical evaluation/procedures are done by the medical professionals at the hospital or medical facility. This app is not involved in any medical procedures.
