The new HaemActive™ app will help you discover and complete a personalized exercise plan tailored to your needs.
People with haemophilia require special fitness exercises: muscles and joints need to be specifically strengthened to heal existing joint damage and reduce the risk of bleeding.
The HaemActive™ training programme is specially tailored to the needs of people with haemophilia. You can do the exercises on your own or in consultation with your physiotherapist.
The following functions support you in this:
• TRAINING PLANNER
You and your therapist can use the training planner to determine which exercises you will do at home until the next physiotherapy appointment.
• VIDEO FUNCTION
You can use the video function to record additional exercises with your physiotherapist and add them to your personal training plan.
• CUSTOMISATION
You can enter tips from your physiotherapist about how to do each exercise in private notes which can be added to each exercise video.
• DEVELOPMENT
Evaluate how you felt before and after an exercise, then you can check your progress to optimise your exercise plan (with your physiotherapist, if you like).
• REMINDER
Use the reminder function to ensure you never miss an exercise - a prerequisite for maximum training success.
