Howz helps you know that an older person is safe, warm and well. Use your UK smart meter or the Howz Smart Home kit to see when they’re active at home, and get alerts if something seems unusual.

See activity at a glance
• Home – A simple dial shows activity through the day with night and day segments, plus a “time now” line.
• Timeline – A chronological list of activity by sensor, location and time. View up to 8 days and export or share as CSV.
• Activity chart – Open a full-screen chart (including in landscape) to see patterns over time, with a date picker and clear night/day bands.

Alerts that matter
• Routine alerts – First activity, late start, up in the night, low day or night activity, daytime check, unexpected activity.
• Day, night and 24-hour alerts – Alerts for low temperature, door opened, door left open, and more.
• Email and SMS – Get notified where you prefer; add your mobile number for SMS and “Last activity” by text.

Share with people you trust
• VIPs – Invite family or carers by email so they can see activity (with your permission).
• Private mode – When it’s on, VIPs don’t see activity, so you stay in control.

Devices and settings
• Devices – See all sensors and devices; flip cards for battery, signal and serial number; view recent events grouped by date.
• Settings – Manage your Howz site, nickname, location and time zone; set night/day times; configure alerts and VIPs; change password and account details.
• Multiple sites – Add more than one site (e.g. different homes) and switch between them.

Designed to be clear and easy to use
• Works on iPhone and iPad, with layouts tuned for iPad.
• Portrait by default; landscape for activity charts when you want a bigger view.
• Local weather on Home (using your site location).
• Support for iOS 14 and later.
