MĪNA TEMP is a temporary OFFICE version of the full MĪNA app. MĪNA TEMP was developed to allow HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS a way to obtain personal health history information electronically, wirelessly and in a manner that is less demanding on environmental resources. Specifically MĪNA TEMP was developed for patients that do not have smartphones.
MĪNA TEMP was developed by a dedicated group of individual users (“patients”), as well as physicians, nurses, scientists, pharmacists, teachers, dentists and veterinarians. The goal is to ensure that this app provides only pertinent information necessary for healthcare providers to provide quality, knowledgeable care. This is done in an efficient and secure manner that ultimately decreases the time and amount of paper required for health history form completion. The encrypted HealthBlueprint, QR image, is scanned by providers that use the MĪNA reader software. MĪNA TEMP is a tablet version of MĪNA that provides all the function of MĪNA without the ability to save this information.
Features included in MĪNA TEMP:
1) COMPREHENSIVE
- Ability to input a complete health history for a single patient
- Capability to input Information specific to adults, pediatrics and pets
- User friendly prompts: Personal Information, Emergency Contact, Insurance Information, Primary Care Provider, Pharmacy Information, Diagnoses, Surgeries, Allergies, Medications, Family History, Social History, Immunizations, Review of Systems, Health Screening as well as a region for free test for the user to describe the reason for the current visit
2) SMART TEXT/AUTO POPULATED FIELDS
- An extensive list of diagnoses, surgeries, medications, allergies, and immunizations are available to aid in accurate documentation and spelling within the accepted health history
3) SECURITY
- After the QR code is scanned, the patient is prompted to erase their information
- Automatic removal of information after period of inactivity
- The app does not communicate with any other apps, the Internet, etc.
- Not even MĪNA has access to patient information - only the patient has access to the information in MĪNA TEMP and chooses to whom they will transfer this information
4) EASE OF TRANSFER
- A state-of-the-art encryption method is used to create a unique QR image that can be easily scanned and uploaded by participating healthcare providers who have the licensed MĪNA specific reader software (This prevents access from unwanted parties)
- PLEASE NOTE: No printing is available by the user in order to prevent unwanted parties from obtaining personal health information
5) SPANISH TRANSLATION
- Capacity to translate most responses from Spanish to English by the MĪNA reader software with a goal to help break language barriers
6) **NO paid advertising and NO in-app purchases are required for full use**
