Designed by experienced Staff of the South Western Sydney Local Health District Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Nursery.
The App will assist practical hands on care by Parents for their baby in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Nursery or Paediatrics. To be used as a tool while your baby is in the hospital and beyond and most importantly whilst being guided by your health professional.

The App assists parents in learning new skills to enable them to be more involved in the care for their baby whilst in the hospital environment and in the preparation for discharge.
It takes parents through different modules from learning about the clinical or early care equipment they will use, the basic care skills and how to look after yourself and when you take your baby home. Using a combination of still images, Video and written descriptions developed by experienced clinicians in easy to understand language with Parents in mind.

It takes a parent through not only the “how’ to do things but also the “why” things are done for the baby in the hospital environment.
