STEP-1 Study app is for data capture for the GI Dynamics Clinical Trial. The study is a Randomized, Multi-Center, Pivotal Efficacy and Safety Study Evaluating the EndoBarrier® System for Glycemic Improvement in Patients with Inadequately Controlled Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity.
This app is specifically intended for study participants in the STEP-1 study. The application uses HealthKit and Apple's ResearchKit library to conduct clinical trials.
