VCare FMD app is UK's first app-based FMD solution for pharmacies, hospitals and dispensing doctors all across the UK and the EU which allow them to comply with the EU Falsified Medicine Directive (EU FMD) which will begin on 9th of February, 2019.

Designed by Pharmacist and developed by the leading app developer, VCare FMD will aide Pharmacist's day to day workflow seamlessly, unlike other FMD solution which hinders the medicine dispensing and delivery process. App compliments with VCare's FMD Portal - for dispensing and delivery of the medicines application which can be performed at either using app or portal, give utmost freedom of choice to medicine dispensing personal.

With VCare FMD application, one can follow simple intuitive steps of
1) Creating medicine bag for the patient,
2) Assign Aggregated code to medicine bag - optional step
3) Scan and verify medicine and medicinal products,
4) Deliver the bag &
5) Let VCare 's UK / EU based cutting edge cloud platform to handle decommission medicinal products of the patient's bag, without intervention by the pharmacist or dispensing staff.

Through VCare 's FMD App, VCare 's cloud based digital health platform connects directly to National Medicines Verification Systems (NMVS) (also refered as National Hub i.e. SecureMed for UK ) to validate against medicine's FMD data. If a medicine medicinal products, is determined to be invalid, user will know instantly - enabling him/her to provide fast, secure, safe and efficient service to the customers and patients.

VCare FMD app uses your device's camera to scan the 2D bar codes that are required by FMD. Portal based reporting options allows user to review all scan data and to review status of it. It will also allow user to perform appropriate action based on key information such as when medicines or medicinal products may expire.

You can use up to 5 mobile devices for dispensing account.

VCare FMD App requires registration to be done with VCare and Government backed National Medicines Verification Systems (NMVS) in UK through VCare.
