Who should be interested in VitruCare?
VitruCare should be of interest to people who receive their healthcare from the National Health Service in England. People who have one, or more than one health issue. An example might be someone who has diabetes, raised blood pressure or some kidney trouble. Or a person who deals with multiple conditions at the same time. Or someone for whom the trip to the doctor is too long and would like to speak by video call. Or a person who would like to stay in charge of making choices and stay informed about the care being provided by several organisations at the same time. Or people caring for others. There are so many uses.
•Your goals – Help the NHS to deliver services suited to your choices and that help you to achieve your goals. Many people have done so already. From the people who make plans, over 80% achieve their goals.
•Together – Working on your health is best done with support from your NHS healthcare team. Add in Social Care and family if you like. VitruCare helps them help you better.
•Secure – Your data is stored in a place also used for official UK government business.
