Operated by Darla Faal, a Middle Eastern Dancer, performer, and instructor from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Darla has been studying and perfecting this dance form since 1995, and teaching since 2002. The foundation of Wild Spirit Belly Dance is a belief in the ability of belly dance to ignite joy and connection to earth energies and feminine Goddess power. These beliefs shine through in Darla's teaching style where a light heart reigns supreme. If you want to get a little crazy, while learning an abundance, this is the instructor for you! Classes are offered in Oriental, Tribal, Fusion, and Dunyavi Rom (Gypsy) styles of belly dance. Focus areas of study often include: drum solos, improvisation, veil, sword, candle, Wings of Isis, fan veil, solo development, drumming, Middle Eastern rhythms, strictly technique, and many more.
