Ancient Egyptris has the familiar mechanics of a game of tetris, as the playing field gradually fills up with blocks of different images. The player needs to move the blocks horizontally as they fall to assemble combinations of three or more elements.
To make the game more interesting there are additional blocks:
1. UP - will increase the value of the block
2. → 10 - turn block into 10
3. → A - turn block to A

Similarly to Tetris, you need to score a maximum number of points, which are awarded depending on how many blocks disappear from the field at the same time.
