Color Spot is a systematic color-perception puzzle game designed to push the boundaries of human color discrimination ability.
GAMEPLAY MECHANICS
Each round presents an N×N color grid where one cell contains a subtly different hue, saturation or brightness. Tap the odd tile to score.
PROGRESSIVE DIFFICULTY
Grid size: 3×3 → 7×7 (increases every 2 levels)
Color delta: 0.34 → 0.04 (perceptual units, decreasing per level)
Axis variance: Random brightness or saturation shift on each round
GAME MODES
Time Attack: Continuous play with per-correct-tap life extension; ends on miss or timeout.
Endless: Untimed, score-accumulation mode for perception training.
ACCESSIBILITY
Colorblind Assist: Toggle persistent setting for alternative color rendering.
TECHNICAL
No network permissions. UserDefaults-backed score history. Compatible with iOS 16+.
