Gridbage is a bold reinvention of the classic card game cribbage — blending the deep strategy of hold'em poker with the beloved scoring traditions of cribbage. If you've ever loved cribbage but wanted more decisions, more skill, and more ways to outsmart your opponent, Gridbage was built for you.

How It Works
Each player is dealt eight (8) cards. You'll discard two (2) into the crib — then place five (5) cards one at a time onto a unique grid game board, keeping one (1) card as your hold card. Every row and column is a cribbage hand waiting to be scored. The center "turn" card is shared by everyone. When all cards are placed, the Cut card is revealed, and every line scores just like cribbage (3 Grid cards, 1 Hold card, 1 Cut card) — fifteens, pairs, runs, flushes, and nobs all count. Highest total wins.

The strategy runs deep. Every card you place blocks a lane for your opponent while opening one for yourself. The grid rewards forward thinking, hand reading, and knowing exactly what your five (5) cards holds.

Four Difficulty Levels
•Beginner — "I know a little cribbage..." The AI makes mistakes and gifts you scoring cards in the crib. A great way to learn without getting crushed.
•Intermediate — "I picked a bad week to...stop playing beginner." The AI plays smart half the time and gives you a fighting chance the other half.
•Expert — "To the Pain..." The AI plans ahead, and plays to win. No gifts. No mercy.
•Ludicrous Speed — "Surely you can't be serious." The AI learns as it goes along. Pure computational carnage.

Duplicate Card Mode
Play the same cards your AI opponent plays — and find out once and for all whether you're actually better, or just lucky. Duplicate Card mode deals identical hands to both players across multiple matched sets, then shows you a full comparison breakdown at the end. Pure skill. No excuses.

Cribbage Board Scoring Track
Watch your pegs race around a beautifully rendered oval cribbage board. Skunks and double skunks are tracked. Every point counts — right up to 121.

Built for Cribbage Players
Gridbage honors everything cribbage players love — the scoring, the language, the crib, the cut, the pegboard — while adding a layer of spatial strategy that makes every hand feel new.
