In Neon Planets the player joins the Icelandic musician Dadi Freyr on a mission through neon themed planets to catch the melody to complete each song while avoiding the bad notes and beating a high score. The game includes three new songs by the musician.
Í Neon Planets slæst spilarinn í för með tónlistarmanninum Daða Frey um litríkar neon plánetur með það að markmiði að næla í nótur sem vantar til að fullkomna lögin hans Daða sem eru öll splunkuný og frumflutt í leiknum. Á leið sinni þarf spilarinn að forðast slæmar nótur og keppast við að næla sér í stig og verðlaun.
