Spanish Words and Puzzles is a ReadnLearn app that teaches phonics, letter names and spelling in Castilian or Latin American Spanish to children from preschool to Grade 1. The Puzzle Box component develops observational skills through shape and frame tray puzzles. The Lite version includes a free sample of six words and six puzzles.

BRIEFLY
Spanish Words and Puzzles keeps children engaged through a star reward system. Children earn a star for completing each word or puzzle successfully. Every five stars, they can redeem them for toys and decorative items for their own interactive iPad room, choosing from four room colors and over one hundred different items and toys. A clean navigation interface gets children into uninterrupted play within a few taps.

SPANISH PHONICS
ReadnLearn uses the systematic phonics method recommended by leading educational authorities. Children start by learning the sounds of individual letters, then discover how those sounds form syllables and words. Spanish is a transparent language — letters consistently map to the same sounds — which makes phonics a highly effective approach for Spanish learners of all abilities. This method is proven especially helpful for children with autism, speech delay and dyslexia.
