APOD is a very simple NASA Astronomy Picture of The Day browser. Application allows you to:
- watch and enlarge photos
- watch videos
- save any image to the disk
- share photos and videos with others
- mark any photo and video as a favourite and watch only those.
APOD also provides a widget presenting today’s picture.
The application is optimized to reduce network traffic (NASA api requests). It simply caches the data after downloading.

Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
Fixed an application error that prevented downloading a photo on April 19, 2024. The error only appeared on macOS 13.x and earlier and was caused by an attempt to download a photo from an url address containing a space character.
