Retro Invaders is a love letter to the golden age of the arcade — chunky pixel art, a four-colour alien formation, the iconic march that speeds up as their numbers thin, and a bonus UFO streaking across the top of the screen for the brave. But this isn't just nostalgia. Eight escalating stages each introduce a new twist: aliens that split and converge, breathing formations, crossfire from mirrored squadrons, screen-sweeping dive-bombers, and a final onslaught that ramps relentlessly toward chaos. Clear a wave and a challenging bonus stage gives you a moment to breathe — and a shot at a perfect-score payout.
Built natively for macOS and played your way: precise keyboard controls or full gamepad support, with remappable bindings and a buttery 60fps on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
