Ample - Organize Your Samples
macOS / Musique
With Ample, finding the perfect sample for your next hit has never been easier! Our app is free to use, but you can give us a tip if you enjoy the app.
Getting Started
To start organizing your samples, let us know where you keep your samples (don't worry we don't make modifications to the file or folders). Next, we will analyze all of your samples to determine the BPM, Key, and any categories they should be placed into. Sometimes the BPM and Key can't be determined, but we do our best to detect them. To get started we add some categories into the app but you can always add more in the future
To find a sample, click on a category, then from there, you can search within those results. Sorting by BPM & Key is super easy. You can also favorite a sample within a category. As you scroll down the list of samples, you can click on one to see the waveform and hear a preview of it. Once you find the perfect sample, you can either copy it or drag it right into your DAW.
Right-click on a sample to copy it, open the containing folder, or edit a sample.
Edit Samples
When editing a sample you can change the key, bpm and add it to any number of categories
Kits
With kits, you can group your samples together into different collections. This makes it easy to favorite samples that you typically use together.
Since we only scan your samples, we will not be able to harm or modify your samples in any way!
If you're on the go and don't have access to the internet, Ample will still function fully!
